Mr. Hillis' recent feature film is Taos.

He first got his start on the ABC soap opera “Port Charles” and has since appeared in dozens of television shows, such as “Ugly Betty,” “Two and a Half Men,” “CSI,” “America’s Next Top Model.” and “CSI: Miami.” Rib is most notably known for his role in changing the lives of one deserving family a week as part of the design team on the Emmy Award winning “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” Rib has recently been featured on “EXTRA” and TV Guide’s “Hollywood 411” to share some of his experiences with the show. “This show changes people’s lives. It brings so much good and happiness to people who are so deserving. I am humbled and honored to be a part of it.”

Rib also likes to keep busy volunteering and working with several charities, including the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, Habitat For Humanity, The Jimmie Johnson Foundation, and the Red Cross, and has served as a spokesperson for Be The Match Foundation, Be The Match, and the National Marrow Donor Program.

He grew up surfing in Southern California and will be doing his own surfing in the film.
