Phil Sammet is a United States Coast Guard licensed captain for the operation of vessels up to 100 tons.

Phil leads local dive tours of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, and organizes and leads travel to remote and exotic destinations worldwide. He teaches all levels of dive training from beginning to technical diving, including rebreather training. Phil Sammet also works as an underwater film consultant in locations such as Alaska, Monterey Bay, and Baja California.
