Mr. McCartney has been involved with the video and television industry for many years. The bulk of his professional life has been spent producing programs for corporate communication, knowledge transfer, and marketing. Early on Brian started Composite Communications with his friend and business partner David Moses in Southern California. When Brian moved to Northern California he started work with iBeam broadcasting, and then moved to Altus Learning Systems to continue his professional career. Recently he started SycoElectric Studios to further some of his more creative work. Mr. McCartney's challenge on the Tao of Surfing project is to capture the "making of" the film just as it happens.
